Spreading the Word: Marketing & Communications at AES
For many years, AES has developed and maintained a strong identity based on our mission, beliefs and practice. It’s important that our communications match the reputation of the school. Whether you are preparing information to send to parents, or need assistance with a more complicated document designed for a wider audience, we have some tools and resources in place to make it a little easier.
AES LOGO
AES logos are available in a variety of formats. All the files can be found in this GoogleDrive folder.
There are several different versions to choose from:
- Brandmark – just the letters AES in various colors. Useful for internal documents where the audience is familiar with the school
- AES logo – contains the letters AES with ‘American Embassy School’ spelled out below. Useful for communication where you want to identify the school with its full name.
- AES New Delhi – contains the letters AES, ‘American Embassy School’ spelled out, plus ‘New Delhi’. Useful for communication to an audience that is not familiar with the school and location.
GIF? PNG? What is EPS?
Before you download the logo you need, you might want to check this document that provides guidance on which format to use.
FONTS – WHAT?! NO COMIC SANS?
We have several fonts that we use regularly in print and online.
- Raleway: Our headline font (for signage, main headlines, etc). If you want to use it, you can find it here.
- Myriad Pro: For text and large blocks of copy. If you want to use it, you can find it here.
- Verdana: Already installed on your computer. What you can use if you don’t feel like uploading the two listed above.
WHAT ABOUT COLORS?
AES’ official colors are golden yellow and black. In addition, we have assigned colors to each school to assist with segmentation of messages and increase comprehension.
Here is a handy list of AES colors and the various codes needed to reproduce them in print and online.
